Pronounciation of Name[edit]

Is it "Pay-ce" or "Pa-chay"?--MartinUK (talk) 19:51, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe it is pronounced "pace", rhymes with "race". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.2.7.218 (talk) 23:58, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:LeePace.jpg[edit]

Image:LeePace.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Image copyright problem with Image:Ned from Pushing Daisies.jpg[edit]

The image Image:Ned from Pushing Daisies.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --02:33, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fan site[edit]

Why was the link to the fan site deleted?
It has nice biography and filmography sections updated much more regularly than the ones in this article. And a very thorough Pushing Daisies / Ned section, too.
Thousands of fan sites are listed as external links in biographical articles on WP, so why not this one?

As Bovineboy2008 is too busy to be polite these days, I'll copy his explanation here myself.
"Do not add http://www.leepace.kk5.org/ as it is not recognized by Pace as an official fansite, see WP:ELNO #11"
Primaler (talk) 20:06, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The fan site is not recognized by an official person. There is a policy on this and the information on that external links has no verifiability as it is a fan site. If you find articles with fan sites, then you should remove them. BOVINEBOY2008 :) 20:17, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't matter if it is recognized by an official person anyway as drive by editors remove those as well .Garda40 (talk) 06:08, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Birthday?[edit]

This site ( http://www.parade.com/articles/editions/2008/edition_01-27-2008/In_Step_With...Lee_Pace ) states his birthday is the 29th not the 25th. Anyone have a source for the current listing?71.190.182.22 (talk) 18:19, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

His IMDB page has March 25, 1979, though that's also far from being a perfect source. I would keep it as is, since at least theoretically, an error on his IMDB page would be more likely to be noticed and corrected, since its viewed more often, including by those involved in the industry.TheCookTravels (talk) 05:13, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography: Revolt (2017)[edit]

Should [Revolt] be added to the filmography? It is an independent film. Mad2Physicist (talk) 22:30, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Why was this article tagged under "Gay actors"?[edit]

When asked about his sexuality, Lee Pace has said he has dated men and women and only labelled himself as a member of the queer community. How do people get "I am gay" out of that? I've removed the tag. Can we stop with the bi erasure and the mislabelling of people in 2021? ETA: I have also added an appropriate tag, "Queer men".

And someone has changed it back to "Gay actors". Whoever is doing this, why are you doing it? You can't decide to label someone on your own just because you feel like it. I'm reverting it back to the appropriate tag. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.116.167.22 (talk) 15:20, 29 October 2021 (UTC) TimeTravellingBunny (talk) 19:09, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think because the source about Ian McEllan saying about fellow out actors refers to them all as gay. It would be better if the one you reference - him dating men and women - could be found and inserted. PitterPatter533 (talk) 14:54, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
