Capitalization[edit]
For some reason, Richard Langham Smith in his article on Thomas in the 2001 edition of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, capitalizes the title of this opera as Le Caïd, both in the running text and in the list of operas. (It's not capitalized by Elizabeth Forbes in her article on the composer in New Grove Opera.) --Robert.Allen (talk) 08:30, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
