Confusion between economists: Lawrence H. White and Lawrence J. White[edit]

There are two economists with the same first and last name:

Lawrence H. White - the subject of this page

Lawrence J. White - a professor at NYU's Stern School of Business

There is, no surprise, some confusion about which is which. At the moment, a google search on the name without the middle initial or with either middle initial generates a google card with information about L H White and a picture of L J White, which of course makes the confusion worse.

It would help resolve the confusion if a biography page were added to wikipedia for Lawrence J White and a disambiguation page for the two of them.

My sense is that L J White is at least as prominent as L H White, so it would be appropriate to have pages on both of them. However, I'm a colleague of Lawrence J White, so perhaps I do not have the neutral POV required to make this call.

Hence, I'm writing here to suggest that someone consider adding a page for L J White.
