Capa's Photos[edit]

All evidence I can find says Dennis Banks, and not Larry Burrows, was responsible for destroying Capa's photos. If you have other evidence, please indicate it. BlongerBros 00:40, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Here is a first-hand account from the photo editor: John G. Morris BlongerBros 00:48, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

According to the Robert Capa article, Burrows was only a tea-boy --duncan 20:04, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

The article seems to be full of POV-worded sentences:

  • It would be hard to exaggerate the effect of this apprenticeship
  • Capa practically invented the genre
  • whereas other photographers were swash-buckling, gonzo, stoned, Burrows was distinguished by his patience and meticulous calm
  • His unflinching perfectionism
  • Burrows was a great photographer

etc. Much of it also reads like original research than straight facts, and could use a hefty rewrite. --duncan 20:05, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The description of the photo-essay is basically a blog post; but who's going to delete it? It's obviously sincere. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 19:55, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
