Sep 44[edit]

My dad said he was at this airbase in April 44, he came across it in a patrol. He said it was abandoned, and there were supplies lying around which they destroyed, then went into the hills to track down Japs. If the base was like this 5 months before the primary allied landing, I'm guessing it wasn't much of a fight. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 214.27.58.2 (talk) 06:41, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

GA?[edit]

@AustralianRupert: Do you think that this article is ready for a GA nomination? Thanks for suggesting it to me BTW! - I've been meaning to read up on this campaign, and happened to be on the look out for a "small" topic to develop an article on. Nick-D (talk) 00:36, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Nick-D: G'day, Nick, yes I think it is ready. Unfortunately, I will be busy for the next week or so, but after that I might be able to help. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 06:41, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No worries at all. Nick-D (talk) 07:22, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
