Full name?[edit]

There's enough available on the web to greatly expand this page, BTW. For right now, though, I wanted to touch on the subject of his full name.

A brief excursion to intelius.com would lead one to indicate that Lance's full name is Lanier Lance Russell. I have a faint recollection of having heard this same name from another source in the past. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have any such sources readily at hand at the present time.

I happened to find this just now 2+ years later. I never asked him about it but his whenever he called me from his home phone to get back to me about setting up an interview or whathaveyou, it said "RUSSELL, LANIER" on the caller ID. --Bix (talk) 07:04, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WWE HoF[edit]

First off, I did once again revise and expand this article offline. I haven't posted it because I haven't had time to review web sources in enough depth. I'll see what I can do. Since all that's been done so far by anyone else in the almost 6 years this article has existed is to provide a meaningless, trivial reference because it's a BLP and would have been subject to deletion without one, don't expect me to rush to it.

I've been vocal in recent years in insisting that Lance Russell be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. That's off-topic for this page, but I wanted to ask about a related issue. I am to understand that there is a shoot interview out there which states that Jerry Lawler wanted Lance Russell to induct him into the HoF. Since the typical WWF/E fanatic of 2007 likely wasn't even alive in Russell's heyday, it's understandable why it didn't happen.
