Possibly misleading station list[edit]

The Pennsylvania and New Jersey stops could be incorrect.

The Lake Cities is generally known as running along Erie RR territory, through Middletown and Suffern, New York, then through northeast New Jersey, through Passaic County, New Jersey, and not through the Poconos of Pennsylvania or the Dover to Newark section to Hoboken.

This page needs verification that the stops were in the cited Scranton to Newark run, not the Middletown to Paterson run.Dogru144 (talk) 21:43, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading opening[edit]

The article opened with citing the train as running from Chicago to New York City. It never did such a route. The Erie routes terminated Pavonia Terminal in Jersey City, New Jersey. By 1959 all Erie trains were running in and out of the Lackawanna Hoboken Terminal in Hoboken, New Jersey.Dogru144 (talk) 21:58, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
