Oppose per WP:TITLECHANGES ("If an article title has been stable for a long time, and there is no good reason to change it, it should not be changed.") . The village does get more page views [2] and I don't see longterm encyclopedic significance in a dictionary word with as little content as Lagg (landform) has. --В²C ☎ 02:02, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see how TITLECHANGES is that relevant here, this a hamlet, not a major town/city. Although the landform article may not have that much significance, I don't see how the hamlet should be primary over it. That taking into account the other settlement on Jura and aircraft (which removes WP:2DABPRIMARY) doesn't make very much of a case for a primary topic here. Support on merits see "lagg is" test. (NB TITLECHANGES isn't relevant here and the mention here may be slightly POINTY due to the editor currently being back again at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Born2cycle per "Because of my interest in title stability on WP" there. @Crouch, Swale: you've been doing good work over the last several months cleaning up article titling and other content issues on geo articles and your contributions are evident and appreciated.) Thanks, I'm to surprised to see TITLECHANGES from В²C. I really don't see how this is anywhere controversial enough to apply the advice that it should not be changed at TITLECHANGES. But anyway we are discussing it here as advised by TITLECHANGES anyway ("Any potentially controversial proposal to change a title should be advertised at Wikipedia:Requested moves"). I don't see how this hamlet (not that large, no population data, presumably less than 50) is primary over the other 3 full matches and 3 partial matches. When I click on the link indeed it gives results for farming, the landform and this interesting result. I wander if we have an article on the Lagg-attack. A search for plain "Lagg" on Google Books returns many results for WW2 aircrafts. Crouch, Swale (talk) 11:45, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
