Tips[edit]

There is some additional information in the sources already used in the article that provides information about other influential artists and performances, other than those moved to the talk page. You may want to review those articles and add content where you've already got citations.

You can use the existing citations by using the short reference names:

  • <ref name="NPR">
  • <ref name="OC Weekly - LA's Next Big Genre" />
  • <ref name="LA Times" />
  • <ref name=Batanga /> for the info from the Batanga site
  • <ref name="Torres" /> for the Spanish People article written by Torres

You just add the "<ref name..." information after the sentence/sentences that you're adding to the article.--CaroleHenson (talk) 03:01, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Non-notable / non-encyclopedic quote[edit]

Although the following quote had a source (yeah!), it is not content that is notable or of an encyclopedic nature. This quote would be great for the band's official site or in articles about the band:

"We want La Santa Cecilia to grow," Hernandez says. "We want to travel. We want to fulfill our dreams of playing music and also representing who we are. [We were] born here from immigrant parents. All of us kids who were brought here when we were young feel a real strong tie to where our parents came from, but [we also feel] a root, a tie and a love for the States, for being from the United States, and for having opportunities and taking advantage of that." -Marisol Hernandez http://music.broadwayworld.com/article/LA-SANTA-CECILIA-New-Album-ft-Elvis-Costello-to-Be-Released-430-20130417

So, that's why I didn't return this to the article. If any experienced editors, disagree, it would be great to hear from you.--CaroleHenson (talk) 03:53, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
