Awards and Reviews[edit]

Individually and jointly, members of LP Duo have won over thirty prizes and awards. These include: the first and special awards at the eleventh International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition, held in Krakow (2007), two third prizes (2005, 2006) and one second (2006) at the Chopin Roma Competition, and the Most Outstanding Individuality Award in Bialystok (2011).[1] In 2008 they competed at Miami Dranoff Two Pianos, one of the biggest competitions for piano duos in the world, held in Florida, USA, where they were named among eight most significant piano duos on the planet.[1] They are the recipients of the Belgrade City Award for Creativity of Young People in the Arts, as well as the annual awards of the Association of Music Artists of Serbia for the best young performers.[1] They are laureates of the Bruno Frei Foundation of the Ochsenhausen State Academy, which is very rarely awarded to non-German nationals.[1] Throughout their career, LP Duo has performed in concert venues across Europe, North America and Asia. Among the most significant concerts are those at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and Carnegie Hall in New York City.[1] They played a sensational concert at the Quantum Technology Center in Singapore, after which the audience took the stage to explore the way the hybrid pianos work.[2][1]

In the announcement of the concert at Carnegie Hall, the activities of LP Duo were described as "classical elegance, jazz freedom and rock 'n roll power":

Since 2004, the LP Duo has been experimenting with endless possibilities for performing on two pianos while developing a new approach to contemporary piano music. Since then, the LP Duo has become one of the most successful piano duos, deleting the boundaries between the chamber ensemble and the rock band.[3]

On Chicago radio WFMT, LP Duo was described as "brilliant, powerful and intelligent," and at the Music Biennale Zagreb as "enchanting".[1]
