I would argue that this article is definitely notable... the LAMP Community is mentioned in the LA Times and by UCLA, to drop a pair of prominent names... I think LAMP deserves a good Wikipedia article PFloyd (talk) 03:18, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would argue that if you believe a topic is notable, or that it deserves a Wikipedia article, you should make sure it includes a mention of notability when you create it so that it isn't PRODed. It is apparently notable, but that was not immediately visible upon reading the article; when creating articles in future, make sure the version you first publish shows the importance of the subject. Also, please clean the article up; it now consists half of quotes which make it read like a spam piece. Ironholds (talk) 05:16, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
