Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as pure vandalism or a blatant hoax, because... this bridge existed until it collapsed this weekend --Michael5046 (talk) 10:08, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I think the article's original title may have been part of the problem, as it made it a little more difficult to locate references. I've cleaned it up slightly, but more work is needed. --Bongwarrior (talk) 11:11, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Potential ref for some structure details[edit]

If nothing more official can be found [1]

A few inconsistencies to keep an eye on[edit]

  • I have seen the length of the bridge reported as 720m, 710m, and 700m.
  • The time of the collapse is given as 4:00 pm, but I have also seen 4:20 pm and 4:30 pm.
  • It is universally reported that construction began in 1995, but various sources have given either 2002 or 2001 as the year it was completed.
