Recent infobox image change[edit]

The infobox image has been changed recently, as the subject of the article herself "expressed her wish" to do so. Firstly, the image was a copyvio and was deleted once, now they have collected and sent permission to OTRS team. I have some doubts. The same image is widely available in internet.

No way, I have reverted this change. And what does they mean with "expressed her wish". Wikipedia is not a place to add copyright stuff. The image is released in multiple websites hence the copyright status still remains unclear. And I don't understand what is the need to change the image, Wikipedia is not a publicity banner nor a advertisement channel then what is the need to change the image when the existing image is a free file. We prefer free files instead of unclear copyrighted files. You can't claim that the author of the image is TeamKritikaKamra when the image is released on other websites too. So, no need to change the image. On a separate discussion I have clear doubts that TeamKritikaKamra is a sockpuppet of Amnaish. Jim Carter ^(talk) 10:29, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If the image is widespread, that does not mean we do not have rights over this image. It is a free image, hence it has been published on the net on different sites, as it's a 'free to use'. It has been given to all the people by The actor herself, and that does not mean the other websites own them. This image originally given to me from the actor, before it was given to anybody else, and i'm her appointed representative in regards to the copyrights of this picture. I dont' understand what proof you guys need to confirm that the picture actually belongs to the actor herself, and not to other pages.

As for you accusing TeamKritikaKamra as my sock puppet - this is my personal account. I created the Team Kritika Kamra account to use for updating Kritika's informaiton on wikkipedia. I had sent a permission email to upload that image, and in he meantime that account was blocked with a reason that multiple people cannot use that account. Which I even confirmed that it was only used by one person, but they blocked it. So I had no choice but to use my personal account now.

You guys are blocking my changes without a solid reason. The image already in the image box is also wide spread; then what is the difference in permission between that one and the one i'm trying to uplaod? The current image you have is old and i'm tyring to update it. I'm not advertising anything, but merely updating her informaiton along with a picture. I hope to get a solid response with a reason this time, and not just the fact that you have your doubts about the picture - Let me clearly state that it is a Free file, WITHOUT any unclear copyrights. Looking at the ticket for permission, I have disputed the email due to some inconsistencies; @Amnaish:, please check your email for furthur instructions.
