This article is about a school, nothing about music. Do not speedy delete. Note that it is the only elementary school in the UGDSB with an article. -Contributor 365.

I removed the speedy tag and suggested he go to AFD (articles for deletion). Please note that current policies do not allow speedy delete for schools, but the proposed policy for schools clearly indicate that only high schools are considered wp:notable without further proof. Wikipedia isn't a place to list every primary school, and only those that are notable for something else are normally included. Examples would be: Primary school of a president, something really bad or really good happened that caused articles (not local) to be written about the school, etc. wp:schools is the proposed future policy, and the best we have here at this time. AFD[edit]

The Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kortright Hills Public School ended in a merge/redirect. I put in the redirect, and the article history still has all the text that can be merged by others. Pharmboy (talk) 20:46, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Let me clarify, the result of the AFD wasn't 'keep for merge', as indicated above (go to the actual AFD) it was 'merge'. The article will be kept anyway for a redirect, which is perfectly logical. Pharmboy (talk) 20:49, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
