Chronological Quibble?[edit]

Is it correct to state: "In April 2010 it was publicly displayed for the first time in 350 years..." (emphasis added)? I am viewing this from the perspective of Feb, 2010 - somewhat before the "past" date of April 2010.

Taksen, discussion is always necessary :) I opened the linked source you had referenced,[1] and it showed a blank page so I couldn't read it, but I just tried again and now it works, so I have now read in more detail and will restore the ref. It's true that he was a professor, but led a consortium of merchants. The obvious question is where did the money come from to make the Atlas, and what was the motivation for doing it -- improved trade and respectability for the merchants. Klencke was a professor, but the son of a wealthy merchant family (the Klencke's). Green Cardamom (talk) 17:56, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
