Rehab Rumors

Drug-use claims

The new section attributing pro-drug statements are dubulious in their sourcing. Starpulse article in question was found without a 'dateline' or a specific reporter/agency taking credit for the authorship of article. Yet to see a source with press credentials. Photo

Do I have consensus that the current photo may violate copright of Sony Studios, since the capture was from Spider-Man. Besides, she's a natural blonde. The photo, while gorgeous, is not a fair representation of her. It'd be definitely suitable for the Mary-Jane Watson article. Roswell Crash Survivor 08:56, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

I've removed the reference to that image in the article since it isn't fair use here. Promotional images are released for promotion of the film, not the actors, and it isn't suitable here. I suggest that until someone can provide or obtain a photo of Kirsten that is suitably licensed for use in this article, then a photo should be omitted for now. --Tim1988 ^talk 14:37, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Since a new photo has been uploaded. I guess this issue is (almost) over - still gotta clear copyright issues.

Frowned-upon-scene

Needs some explanation: if you don't already know about it, this article tells you nothing; neither does the film article. Just as an example, I do not know what the problem is, not having seen the movie, although I would suspect it has something to do with the respective ages of the two actors at the time? --Phil | Talk 16:38, May 4, 2004 (UTC)

Good point. I have added the details concerning the age difference between the two at the time when the scene was shot. I agree that the article needs some serious work. I changed only that one passage, which I had written some time ago. Maybe the people who are more involved with this article would care to expand it? Redux 05:59, 10 Jun 2004 (UTC)

And now all that's left is one sentence that doesn't explain anything. I just watched "Interview with the Vampire" and I didn't see any kiss scene between them at all - can you be more specific? I wasn't aware of her career as a singer... and having read the article, I'm really none the wiser. Wouldn't simply actor be a more useful descriptor?

Wooden Spoon Productions?

[2] - in this 2004 interview, she says she does not have her own production company and certainly isn't involved with one with her mother. If anything, "Wooden Spoon Productions" is just a name she would consider using if she started her own production company. Images

Shot-caller8, thank you for working so hard to upload so many images, but you really need to stop. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a Kirsten Dunst image gallery; and by both adding more images than there are lines of text to go along with them and then enlarging those images, you take a little away from the article (and a lot from the formatting). Fansite links

Normally I am not a fan (excuse the pun) of fansites cluttering external links, but kirsten-dunst.org ranks 2nd in Google [3] for the search term "kirsten dunst". WP:EL states "including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate". --Tim1988 ^talk 10:33, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

What's with the quotes?

Did someone meticulously pick out all of the worst things she's ever said? I'm not even a fan of Dunst and I found the quotes over-the-top. For one thing, there are too many of them; for another, they make her out to be a complete ditz. May I politely point out that she has a WikiQuote page? Good point! Lists of quotes do not belong in Wikipedia articles and they're not sourced anyway. I'm removing them and any quotes in the article should be worked into relevant passages in the text and properly sourced. - Duribald 15:20, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

That doesn't make any sense, hence my reversion. Several actors are uncredited in movies, but for purposes of completeness they shouldn't be omitted elsewhere. - Dudesleeper · Talk 19:03, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

In late May she confirmed it but it was for depression not drugs. It is now in the article Edkollin (talk) 22:16, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
