Copyvio[edit]

I have removed a massive copy-paste from http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0492253/bio to prevent the whole article from being deleted. Yury Petrachenko 07:03, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • As it turns out, there was no copyright violation because the author of the biography donated his original work to both IMDb and Wikipedia (and to public domain; see diff on my talk page). Yury Petrachenko 18:32, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"In 1938, Yuri Lavrov became a permanent member of the troupe at Kiev State Russian Drama Theatre named after Lesya Ukrainka." - this is about another person (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuri_Sergeevich_Lavrov). In 1938 KIRILL Lavrov was only 13 years old! 195.246.248.3 (talk) 12:09, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is about the family of actors : Kirill Lavrov, and his father, Yuri Lavrov, who was also an actor in Leningrad, then moved to Kiev in 1938, and took along the son, Kirill. This comment is made to correct a common mistake in some other Kirill Lavrov's biographies mentioning Kiev as his birthplace, while actually, he was born in Leningrad, and lived there for about 13 years, then moved with his actor father to Kiev and made his stage acting debut there, at the Kiev Drama named after Lesya Ukrainka.12.175.88.233 (talk) 01:50, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
