Note on the name[edit]

A blub at the begining should make clear that the name King George's War is only used in American (US) historiography. It has different names in English Canada, French Canada, the UK, and France. Kevlar67 20:55, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was a History major in college in the U.S., & never have heard the term King George's War. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:cf99:2080:9cbc:faa0:e212:c214 (talk) 00:57, May 7, 2017 (UTC)

Another name[edit]

The European names of those conflicts are more used in French. Therefore, it would be called Austrian Succession War as well. --ThoMiCroN (t) 23:06, 7 February 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThoMiCroN (talkcontribs)
