In what way is this film based on an urban legend ? -- Beardo 21:23, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fuel capacity: criticism, or part of plot?[edit]

The Plot section includes the following sentence: "It seems to run indefinitely in spite of a limited fuel capacity." Is this actually an aspect of the plot ("Its fuel should have run out long ago!"), or is this just a trenchant comment on the implausibility of the movie? If the latter, it probably should be removed from the article, or at least from the plot summary. -- Dan Griscom (talk) 03:12, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

One of the characters makes a specific point early on that it would run out of fuel eventually. But that aspect was never mentioned again, even though several days passed before the climax. MrZoolook (talk) 01:30, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
