Article name, change to keyed bugle[edit]

There's plenty of good material in The Cambridge Companion to Brass Instruments (1997) and Clifford Bevan's The Tuba Family (2nd ed., 2000). It seems that "Kent bugle" and "Royal Kent bugle" was just one maker's name for the instrument, and the term "keyed bugle" is a much more common or well-known name for the instrument.
