Sexual Equality as a distinguishing feature?[edit]
All Kibbutzim are based on sexual equality. I am not aware of any kibbutz in which the women don't have an equal part in the decision making process or in which men don't cook(!). I think this is a bit of a misleading statement that unnecessarily and incorrectly disparages the rest of the kibbutz movement. Is there something about Ketura's sexual equality policy that genuinely sets it apart from other kibbutzim in Israel or can this sentence be deleted? Dino246 13:06, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to see an independent source backing up their own statement that "Ketura's egalitarian policy is rare among kibbutzim". I don't believe that it is. Egalitarianism is a fundamental part of kibbutz ideology generally. Dino246 13:06, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
