As a biography, this article should have a completed persondata template. The article also needs copy editing. For example, "As he was 17 years old at the time, Shadrick had to convince his parents to papers allowing him to enlist." This probably means he had to have his parents sign permission papers, but it doesn't say so. There are other places which could be clearer. I would suggest that the Guild of Copy Editors should be requested to do a copy edit. --DThomsen8 (talk) 21:34, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
