Dam Break in Georgia

I recall as a youth attending Summer Camps at Toccoa Falls College. We were housed in dorms during our stay. We were told things about the sam break and found that it was a horrific scene at that time. It occurred after midnight and basically the entire lake emptied out into a stream that trickled over the Toccoa Falls waterfall. You can view this on Google images. The waterfall is grand and beautiful. I can not imagine what it must have been like for that entire lake to come spewing over the falls. There are accounts of first floor dorms where students were trapped and drowned to death. The book :Dam Break in Georgia" is a really good book to read.
