Need pictures?[edit]

I'm living in Monfalcone, an industrial town on the southern border of Italian Karst. Surely I can provide some pictures of our Karst, where I ride (Iìm a barefoot-and-bitless rider) daily.

Feel free to ask me about some specific topic.

(canciand1 17:46, 29 May 2006 (UTC)) Hi Alex, I've just noticed that you've written Grotta Gigante both in capital letter (which I think is correct) while the link is Grotta gigante. Gigante is not capital. I'm going to change that only so that it can be linked to the page! Ciao[reply]

Karst/Kras?[edit]

Currently, the article is titled Kras but in the text, the term Karst is used. Should it therefore be moved to Karst Plateau (a natural disambiguation from Karst - topography)? --Eleassar my talk 06:53, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I personally prefer Karst as a well-established English term (Karst region, Karst area, Karst Plateau). The capitalization (Karst) already distinguishes it from the geology (karst), although that wouldn't be reflected in the article title. Karst Plateau may not be the ideal choice because there can be karst plateaus in other places too (China, Guatemala, etc.); however, it is probably the best choice for differentiation. Classical Karst is also fairly differential (for an article title, but less common than Karst Plateau), although I'd simply use Karst (with a big K) in an English text in preference to Classical Karst.
