The article currently indicates that the subject was born in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario. This is incorrect, since Scarborough didn't become part of Toronto until 1998. I'm going to remove the Toronto references unless someone objects. Pburka (talk) 15:33, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kardinal Offishall usually states that he is from Toronto (or T-dot) in interviews and such. Simply putting Scarborough, Ontario may confuse people who don't know about the megacity amalgamation, Metro Toronto, etc. Maybe it should just say Toronto, Ontario since it's one big city now. Thanks for the feedback. I'm reluctant to change it to Toronto, since that's not strictly accurate (although I'm sure that, in an interview, he's rather not have to explain where Scarborough is. But in Wikipedia, anyone who wants to know where Scarborough is could just click on it and find out that "Scarborough is the area that forms the eastern part of the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was a separate city for over 200 years, but has been part of the 'East District' of Toronto since 1998." Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any established precedent: Paul Tracy is from Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario; Mike Myers (actor) is from Scarborough, Ontario; and Maestro (rapper) is from Toronto, Ontario. Middle name[edit]

Someone keeps adding "William" as his middle name without providing a reference. The truth is, his middle initial is D., and there are several sources that indicate his name is Jason D. Harrow, therefore, I put that name into the article. Blackjays1 (talk) 06:23, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

pronunciation[edit]

do we have some ref that his name is not pronounced "cardinal official", but rather "oaf-i SHALL"? kwami (talk) 05:59, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's pronounced "kar-din-al oh-fish-al". Here's a reference, I'm going to put it in the article. Blackjays1 (talk) 17:10, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
