Kantajiu/Kantajew[edit]

Wouldn't Kantajiu be a preferable title to Kantajew? The latter seems to be purely phonetic, and the former more etymologically justifiable. I'd like to move the page if others agree. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 13:33, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Many things in the former Raj have phonetic spellings - there wasn't an established transliteration system. It's possible the building has been spelt like this in English at some point. While trying to name this building on Commons I have also come across Kantojiu, Kantaji, and Kantanagar --moogsi^(blah) 18:54, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
