Education changes[edit]

Juhayman al-Otaybi wikipedia page having a tag Infobox criminal, we could not make changes to it. Juhayman al-Otaybi neither represented to Umm Al-Qura University nor he was student. But still Google Knowledge base result shows his education refers to Umm Al-Qura University, but has studied through Islamic University of Madinah. Our prime object is we dont want to see him in Google Knowledge base results as Notable Alumni. Confused. Point 6 here says, The advent of the mahdi from the lineage of the Prophet through Husayn ibn Ali to remove the existing injustices and bring equity and peace to the faithful. I thought lineage of the prophet was a core Shiite belief. Wouldn't this autonmatically make him a Shiite?75.85.81.0 (talk) 03:26, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The "lineage of the prophet" is in no way only a Shiite belief. However, I am more surprised about the "mahdi" concept. This I considered to correspond largely to Shiism... СЛУЖБА (talk) 22:06, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Belief in a Mahdi is quite widespread in traditional Sunni doctrine as well. See the article 'Mahdi' for different views. The most famous claim to Mahdism in a Sunni society is the 19th century Mahdi of Sudan. Harithbr (talk) 17:37, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article seems to have some inaccurate information. Transliteration from Arabic doesnt seem consistent here. Why 'Juhayman' and 'Sayf', but 'Otaibi', rather than 'Otaibi'? Harithbr (talk) 17:29, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]


Article states that he was visited by his teachers, among which was Muhammad al-Amin al-Shinqiti, and they all wept together. Problem: Shinqiti passed away in January, 1974 and Juhayman was arrested in 1979.
