Roots village???[edit]

It seems strange that nobody has mentioned the sheer improbability of this being the actual "Roots" village due to the proximity of James Island, now Kunte Kinte Island. It makes no sense that Alex Haileys ancestor could have lived so close to a slave station in his chronology.
