Distinguished Service Cross citation[edit]

Negron's Distinguished Service Cross has not been revoked, therefore it stays until March 18 when it will be upgraded to the Medal of Honor. The content on the DSC citation is the one that will be used for the Medal of Honor. When the MoH is awarded then we can change the section name. I would like to write about the others if permitted as I have done in the past. I want to keep the same format which I have used for the other MoH's that I have written about. I hope that my request is understood. Tony the Marine (talk) 17:00, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • The section name was not changed. It is still called "Distinguished Service Cross citation". What do you mean? —Ahnoneemoos (talk) 18:48, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • What I'm talking about is the placement of the citation. It should follow the format of the other MoH articles where the citation is within the article. I would like to keep the same uniformed format used in the others. I hope that is not too mush to ask. Tony the Marine (talk) 18:52, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Those are only some examples and exceptions. This is how "we" do it in other articles? Who is we? That does not make it correct. The articles which I and many others have written have used the same format that I used in this one. Yet, if you do not agree with me, then be my guest and change it. Good luck with adding content to the others. Tony the Marine (talk) 19:09, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • There are 137 MoH recipients from the Korean War; see List of Korean War Medal of Honor recipients. From a quick review of these you can quickly notice that citations are typically listed after the biography. By your same argument just because you have been doing it in a certain way that doesn't make it correct either. I think this is quite a trivial pursuit even though I don't agree with you. Just be careful when you perform reverts: the section was never removed but when you performed a full revert you also reverted other changes that were appropriate for the article (such as the visual representation of Negrón's ribbons and the formatting used for his DSC citation). —Ahnoneemoos (talk) 19:27, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks, for the ear pulling. I think that I will go into a corner for a time out. Also, how about you taking your own advice and discussing things in the 'talk pages" of articles before making important changes? I believe that it would be gladly appreciated.
