Jesus in the Greek[edit]

I have changed the Greek translation of Iesous men huios Gamala (Γαμάλα μὲν υἱὸς Ἰησοῦς) to Jesus rather than Joshua. The Greek Iesous is consistently translated into the English as Jesus, not Joshua, throughout the Gospels and the works of Josephus. It is disingenuous to use Joshua for the a translation from the Greek, when only the Talmud refers to him as such. Mythosmann (talk) 22:21, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
