Untitled[edit]

There is an incredible need to change the title of this text, since it is too long most importantly and hard to site from other sites.

In addition, I was rather horrified to find the state of the descriptions of the campaigns (which only included the first campaign at Okpo).

  • I understand your point of view but before creating this article there were only four lines describing Admiral Yi campaign, that the reason why I've put that name which is too long, let's try to find another shorter title... Whlee 14:42, 2 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • Moreover we need several pages and articles to describe Admiral Yi Campaign for better comprehension, but i dont have enough time to think on it Whlee 14:42, 2 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

I hope that people come to realize that the title needs to be changed or modified so that future people can visit this page in a better convenience.

  • Sure they will Whlee 14:42, 2 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore, while I have started this process, an accurate depiction of the entire four campaign series needs to be put into the selection. I don't have a complete knowledge of the material, but alot of it can come from Yi Sun Shin's War Diary. Furthermore, many websites have enough credible information to put on a formalized face (but please make certain you distinguish between reasonable material and totally bogus material...) Progress of Battles during the Four Imjin Campaigns of Admiral Yi Sun Sin[edit]

The dates in this section are incorrect. The dates in the sources are given from the Chinesee Lunar-Solar calendar in the form such as 六月二日 (sixth month, second day) , but when this randomly chosen date is converted to a Western solar calendar date, it turns out to be July 8, (1592). See the Chinese language conversion tool at [1]. Doc Rock 23:48, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

move[edit]

I think that this article should be moved to Admiral Yi's naval campaigns of 1592 because they were all conducted under his command. "Joseon" is too ambigous. Good friend100 23:03, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
