Notes[edit]

  • I changed the receivers cat to ends
  • I added the players from WV, Maryland basketball players, and WW2 Navy veterans cats
  • PFR and PFA both have his death date as May 16. Is May 17 just a typo?
    • Fixed.
  • "Catching passes from Sammy Baugh" I know the source says this but he's not specifically talking about the 1946 season. Also, if you look at Lookabaugh's game logs for 1946:
    • Sammy didnt't play in the first game and Lookabaugh caught 2 passes so that gives us only 4 possible passes.
    • In the second game, Sammy split time with Jim Youel. Sammy completed 5 passes and Youel completed 4. Lookabaugh caught 3 of those but we don't know from whom.
    • In the third game, Sammy completed 12 passes and Youel had 5. Lookabaugh caught 1 pass.
    • Are there any other sources for this? His TD log says his only career TD was from Sammy Baugh so perhaps you can add the Sammy Baugh part to the 1947 season.
  • "with 9–11 games played" I think "9 or 11" is easier to understand. I think that would be easier to understand in the infobox too even if it looks weird.
    • Changed.
  • Also, could you look for a non-free image like at Dave Viti?
    • There's one here - do you think its alright? If not I could search further for another one.
      • i usually like ones of them playing but we can add that if there's not another one. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 23:47, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
        • That was the best one I could find - could you upload it? BeanieFan11 (talk) 23:29, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think that's everything. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 00:08, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

All points have been addressed. Passing the article. Nice work!. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 23:53, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • @WikiOriginal-9: I guess I should have mentioned that Lookabaugh was shown in the bottom of the two pictures. What you just uploaded is a photo of Jim Gaffney. Apologies. BeanieFan11 (talk) 23:57, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ill just move the other one to gaffneys page. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 00:00, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@WikiOriginal-9: Sorry again if I'm not being clear - there's two photos in that clipping - you have to scroll to the very bottom of the clipping to see the image with Lookabaugh. BeanieFan11 (talk) 00:01, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I took the pic off. I requested file mover rights so I can move this. Then I'll upload the real one. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 00:09, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • @BeanieFan11: In regards to the image of him in a basketball uniform in 1946 that we were going to upload, shouldn't we mention in the article what that's about? WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 19:07, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
