Complete re-write[edit]

Hi all,

This stub really does not reflect the fundamental and wide-reaching impact John Bolton had the development of radio astronomy (and astronomy at large). I am going to begin a complete re-write over the next month, using the biography of "Radio Astronomer: John Bolton and a New Window" by Peter Robinson as a starting point. I have a PhD in radio astronomy. Feel free to contact me if you have any ideas of how this should be approached.Jrcallingham (talk) 13:45, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Finally had time to finish this rewrite. I would have liked to add a few more references directly to the science papers but there is a fair bit of overhead doing that on wikipedia. I think I have included the most important ones. Let me know if you have any feedback! Jrcallingham (talk) 16:53, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
