Untitled[edit]

I've re-written this piece to reflect the importance of Dobson and Grainger in the first comprehensive rebuilding of a modern city - decades years before Haussmann's work in Paris.

Much of this is very similar to http://pages.britishlibrary.net/alan.myers/dobson.html I'll have to go through it sometime and remove the copyvios. The JPS 21:20, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The reference to "University College" for Alexander Dobson's first prize in architecture needs clarification. Was it University College, Durham, or University College, Oxford? Wbkelley (talk) 03:00, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, the reference to the Paris Exhibition of 1858 needs verification. Wikipedia fails to list an 1858 Paris Exposition, though several others are listed. Wbkelley (talk) 05:38, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the "Central Station" section contains an end quotation mark but no beginning quotation mark to signify the extent of whatever second quotation it means to include. Wbkelley (talk) 05:47, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
