Spartacus?[edit]

What is the meaning of this sentence: This information was taken from and not credited to the spartacus information network.? Is this page a copyvio? ---Charles 03:33, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The link for Billy Wilson on this page directs you to an article on an Australian Rugby League player, not the individual that was involved with Chisum.GrimGambit 18:44, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The link to Bolivar Texas sends you to a section on the Bolivar penninsula found on the Texas coast. Bolivar Texas is a small town due west of the town of Sanger in northwest Denton county. John Chisum's ranch was west of the later. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.119.58.165 (talk) 03:22, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

I mistakingly marked my recent edits as minor, but I also meant to indicate that citations are needed in this article. GCD1 19:42, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hahaha[edit]

It appears as though all that is needed to be a biographer of an individual that lived in the nineteenth century is a love for Westerns....

"Pat Garrett, a former buffalo hunter, reformed part-time rustler, small rancher, and the Kid’s one-time friend"[edit]

"reformed part-time rustler... the Kid’s one-time friend" nothing about this in the Pat Garrett article. No reference to these interesting facts if facts they be. "One-time friend" is one of the animating motifs in the movie Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid which would be a poor source for an encyclopedia. The article needs someone versed in the history to fix it. Larry Koenigsberg (talk) 03:01, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
