Middle names[edit]

The accompanying page is a form of Dab, but the 4 guys w/Chipman in the middle are American or Canadian, and born no earlier than 1817, so that compound surnames are unlikely. In fact, each bio leads quickly to evidence of Chipman not being treated as part of a surname for its subject. So none of them is a contender for the subject of the "John Chipman" page, nor as likely to be sought with Chipman as surname than with the real surname. So these entries cannot be retained:

* John Chipman Farrar
* John Chipman Gray
* John Chipman Kerr, Canadian recipient of the Victoria Cross
* John Chipman Wade, Canadian politican and lawyer

  • If you want a page listing people with Chipman in their names, then create that and see if it survives AfD. But it can't be combined into the needed Dab.
