Objection to deletion[edit]

The reasons given for deletion were a) that notability is not inherited. The notability of Steinbrenner is in her philanthropy, which she did herself, and isn't inherited. She can also be considered notable for her position of vice-chair of the Yankees, also work she did herself and isn't inherited; b) that WP is not a memorial. There is coverage of her prior to her death, but it was more apparent and more easily accessed after her death. This is common and doesn't indicate non-notability. her retort[edit]

Beemer69 the content is about her retort. I'm happy to try to reword, but it's incorrect to say the content isn't about her valereee (talk) 20:44, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Beemer69 I've found an additional source for this, and will re-add, with an attempt to make sure it's clear this is a story about her, not her husband valereee (talk) 20:54, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I've given it another shot -- let me know what you think. I set it apart as its own para, tried to make clear that this was about her, not her husband, but have to give the setup valereee (talk) 21:01, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
