The tone marks[edit]

Jinan is 3rd tone on the 1st syllable, I have checked here: http://www.zdic.net/cd/ci/9/ZdicE6ZdicB5Zdic8E363696.htm As well as in my Wenlin computer software dictionary. If you want to change it again, cite some sources please. (Compare other non-place names like 经济[經濟] jīngjì in which Ji is 4th tone.)

Twin cities[edit]

Disappearance of the Ji River[edit]

The major floods of the Yellow River were 1851 and 1855. It's possible it shifted slightly in 1852, but this needs a source and a note on the history section of Yellow River and Ji River. — LlywelynII 02:38, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
