Birth date[edit]

I have two conflicting birth dates for "Dimboola Jim".

1. 1851 at Pleasant Creek, near Adelaide, SA (Jack Pollard)
2. 1860 (1 Sept) at Pleasant Creek, now Stawell, Victoria. (CricInfo)

Either way, he spent most of his early life at Dimboola, Vic. - hence his nickname.
