In my view , any person, just because he is a hunter, cannot be termed as an "Non-notable person. Selfish animal abuser. " There have been several hunters in the histroy of man kind, like Jim Corbett, who have killed animals not only for pleasure but also for sport.

Anyway, till any strong evidence of Jim Martell's animal abuse is presented, I would like to strongly oppose the request for deletion.Jordy 18:21, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't the person who originally marked it for deletion - whoever did it didn't do it properly. I've done it because the debate should be handled in the proper way. Please add your opinions to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jim Martell. Thanks. RupertMillard (Talk) 18:42, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

it's not that he's an animal abuser, it's just that he's some random lucky fuckhead. nobody would give a shit about him if he hadn't shot one special bear. his ONLY relevance as a human being exists in the grizzly-polar hybrid article, and soon he will be forgotten unless he pulls a cheney or something, maybe on a member of his redneck family. kill the article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.250.94.172 (talkcontribs) .

I wouldn't have put it quite like that, but basically I am of the same mind. You need to voice your opinion on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jim Martell though. Thanks. RupertMillard (Talk) 07:38, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture not public domain[edit]

I am removing the picture from this article (already removed it from the Grizzly-polar bear hybrid page) because it was taken by Jim Martell, and we would need explicit permission from him to use it. I have provided justification on the Talk:Grizzly-polar bear hybrid page. - Torgo 19:14, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
