Sitting here today remembering when. Thinking about Jim Hawthorne. He hired me in 1967 at KGU Radio in Honolulu Hawaii. Worked for him as his secretary. Gentleman, hilarious ,great story teller, still had his weatherman glasses. He told me all about radio, payola, and his life. I’ll always remember him as a kind and protective man of a young woman who learned from him and admired him.
