Notable people?[edit]

That whole section seems dubious, far too long with far too many suspect entries. Is it meant to be people born here, or just people who have been here? If the former then many probably don't belong – the Americans for example. If the latter then it’s trivia, not enough to establish a link. Many people have visited, even lived here for a short time, but have no particular association. It's unsourced and is missing all but two links (which is our normal way of establishing notability, having articles to link to). It probably should be removed, unless someone wants to sort it out.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 02:00, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
