The alternate proposal seems very reasonable, so long as hatnotes allow users to get to the other pages in question (either directly or through a disambiguation). For example, it's completely reasonable that one might search Jessie Nelson while looking for Jesy Nelson -- while that doesn't mean they aren't the primary, we still want to make sure those readers can navigate to where they want to go.--Yaksar(let's chat) 03:28, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
