Full name[edit]

It seems that "Fey Dora" has been added to the full name as a joke. Probably in reference to the popular image of Jerry Messing tipping a fedora. ps. I'm euphoric. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.166.29.62 (talk) 18:18, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is he really noteworthy?[edit]

I know he's become popular recently because of the fedora meme but is he really so noteworthy that he gets his own Wikipedia article? Linuxrox (talk) 23:11, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I was actually going to say the same thing, but it looks like this page was created in 2005 and had a few edits between then and mid-2014 when it was hit hard, so I guess he was considered notable enough a long time before that started. BoxofPresents (talk) 03:07, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The fedora note isn't even in the article. It is mentioned http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/tips-fedora here. I'd add a link to it but some jerk would come along and remove it for fun and so I checked the history and that's basically the history of the article, jerks repeatedly removing the most notable thing about him for fun. Fedora Guy[edit]

It's regrettable that he earned this handle; the hat he's wearing is called a Trilby, not a Fedora. The brim of a Fedora is broader, and in general, a Fedora is a softer, floppier hat than a Trilby. Fedoras are always either felt or straw; Trilbys are made of any old fabric. The back of a Trilby's brim is always flipped up; it's common for the back of a Fedora's brim to be flipped down.

I've made an edit to this section accordingly.

At the expense of atheists[edit]

It seems like it is simply certain atheists which are ones that call people who believe in a god or gods stupid ArizonacardinalsFan (talk) 04:42, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
