Community Divisions[edit]

Does anyone know how to describe the way Jeddore is subdivided and what the actual divisions are. Obviously East, West, and Head are all part of Jeddore, but are these divisions communities themselves? If so what does that make the greater Jeddore area? What about other 'communities' such as Salmon River Bridge and Myers Point? These are denoted as communities by road signs.

Does anyone know the meaning, spelling and pronunciation of Jeddore in Mi'kmaq?

Nevermind[edit]

It looks like the name is not Mi'kmaq as I had always thought, it was originally name River of Theodore and eventually the name became mangled into Jeddore.
