Visiting two binary asteroids together or separately[edit]
It's unclear in this article whether Janus A and B are going to travel together to visit two separate binary asteroid systems, or will split up and each visit a seperate system. The article on Universe Today (https://www.universetoday.com/147938/nasas-janus-mission-is-going-to-visit-two-binary-asteroids/) says that they will image the asteroids together. However, on NASA's website (https://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/nmc/spacecraft/display.action?id=JANUS) it says that the spacecraft will each visit a different binary asteroid. A webpage by the University of Colorado Boulder (https://www.colorado.edu/today/janus-binary-asteroids) supports this. It should be clear in this article that the spacecraft are going to different asteroids.Nrl103 (talk) 20:54, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
Bring Back the Animations[edit]
There used to be animations showing the planned trajectories for Janus, even though it has been rescheduled I would appreciate if someone could find those animations and bring them back. Nrl103 (talk) 01:57, 30 June 2022 (UTC)

Launch date[edit]
The lead section, and the rest of the article, states that Janus was expected to be launched in October 2023 as a secondary payload on Falcon Heavy together with the Psyche spacecraft
. Who expects that, exactly? The source provided (the 28 October 2022 NASA press release) disagrees, saying the following: "NASA continues to assess options for its Janus mission exploring twin binary asteroid systems, which was originally scheduled to launch on the same SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket as Psyche. NASA’s Deep Space Optical Communications technology demonstration, testing high-data-rate laser communications, is integrated into the Psyche spacecraft and will continue as planned on the new launch date."
Unlike for the other ride-along mission, which is integrated into the Psyche spacecraft, there is no confirmation of a launch date for Janus (not even a NET date), or that it is still going to launch together with Psyche. Renerpho (talk) 02:31, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
