Talk:January 6th

In the United States, the phrase "January 6th" has become synonymous with the deadly coup d'état attempt on that date in 2021, much as "9/11" (but not "September 11th") is synonymous with the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. Because this one is a USA-centric reference, it should be listed second.

Elsewhere in the world, it just means a date in any given year, to be listed first.

Restored the redirect consistent with other events that are synonymous with a specific day , this is just one day in history, whether you are in America or not. The attack on the Capitol is included in the target page. Polyamorph (talk) 15:22, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You are mistaken. I see no reference to 2021 storming of the United States Capitol in the target page. Art Smart Chart/Heart 15:26, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, it's buried as a wl from "storm". Very cleverly hidden. Art Smart Chart/Heart 15:28, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If it's not clear enough then it can be reworded. Polyamorph (talk) 15:36, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
