Other media[edit]

None of the information this section is notable, and it's all unsourced. A cartoon character resembling the car, in game assets for 20 year old games etc etc. There's no encyclopaedic value here, especially without sources.Bledwith (talk) 09:35, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It’s notable to the 2.4 million people that subscribe to Jay Lenos Garage in addition to the millions that watch on television ...but not to you so you delete the media reference ? That specifically lists the name of the show ? (which is also listed on wikipedia). okie dokie :) JasDhillon67 (talk) 10:08, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that some thing appears in a segment on a TV show, regardless of viewership, is not inherently notable. Especialy when there's no source.Bledwith (talk) 10:15, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think my wikipedia experience is thankfully over. The edits are arbitrarily , subjective and in most cases petty. The section was labelled “Other Media” but apparently the entire genre of film/video is excluded :) The Jaguar XJR-15 wikipedia page at least has the correct production number now. All the best ! Wikipedia has various guidelines for what is notable for inclusion. In this case, see here - consensus is that media appearances are almost always non-notable. Most cars will eventually appear on some episode of something, and unless that media appearance had a direct effect on the design, operation, or sales of the car, it doesn't warrant a mention. --Sable232 (talk) 14:11, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
