Israel Bonds Way[edit]

52nd Street between Lexington and Third Avenue is officially named by the City of New York as “Israel Bonds Way” – a notable item However User:Penn92 is persistently removing the edit saying in edit summaries that it is a “security issue.” The Israelbonds.com site itself gives the address http://www.israelbonds.com/nyregion.html The address is easily found on http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Development+Corporation+for+Israel+New+yOrk,+NY&ie=UTF8&ll=40.768842,-73.971977&spn=0.144308,0.263672&z=12&iwloc=A You can’t remove information just because it mentions the name of Israel. A street name in the U.S. named for an economic activity in another country is notable and should not be censored.Americasroof (talk) 17:28, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the above stmt. I have worked there and the security is solid. It is much more secure than the average financial firm. Secondly, the web site has the address listed, so it is no secret. Plus the floor is not listed as it is a large building. The (sad) fact of the matter is, if certain people are motivated (and hateful) enough to do something, they (unfortunately) will. DCI is on 54th Street between Lexington and Third Avenue, not 52nd Street. I can't find any reference to it being named "Israel Bonds Way" by the City of New York, although that may have been true eight and a half years ago. I will look around a little more for sources, as I am curious now.--FeralOink (talk) 18:45, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
