2012[edit]

Thank you for bringing this article back from the dead. I created one over a year ago and it was nominated by a Sr. Wikipedian for speedy deletion. I tried to defend the article, but it was trashed nonetheless. My version was significantly longer and more developed, it would be nice if it could be retrieved. --Scalhotrod - Just your average banjo playing, drag racing, cowboy... I'd really like to find my original article. I never saved a local copy of it and the user that deleted seemingly completely wiped it out. Supposedly it can be restored by a Wikipedian with high enough level access, I will see if I can find the original communication regarding the article. --Scalhotrod - Just your average banjo playing, drag racing, cowboy... Here's the original conversation. I spent 4 - 5 hours on my first article and it was deleted in roughly the same amount of time. It happened so fast, I didn't even get a chance to respond...

Original article retrieval[edit]

Hi folks, I just made a request to a Sr. Wikipedian with deleted article restoration privileges to provide me with a copy of my original article that was nominated for speedy deletion when another Wikipedian decided that it was not notable. Feb 2011 article merger[edit]

Hi Folks, I've merged some of the content from the Feb 2011 version of the article that I created. What do you think?
